    planing to put a plug for pwr access to jump boat.

    I intend to add a charger jack out side of the engine compartment to access jump starting the boat instead of moving the bench and all the stuff in it from the hatch over the motor well. should the need arise. also would serve for a battery charger connect at home. advice please.

    Should I add a Kill Switch, and how.

    My new boat , a 85 merc i/o doesn't have a kill switch, I suspect that I should install one, and it may even be a legal requirement.

    Stern drive locks?

    noticing that a lot of i/o boats frequently lack the out-drives , why, supposing that they must have fallen off or were stolen, I find really only one type of lock, the sleeve lug nut type common to keeping mag on a car. My recollections is that those type of lock don't deter professional...

    Still fixing the bay liner, but bought a cruiser, with a I/o, runs great, so maybe this year I will get to boat, first trip is planned on the Chesapeake near Solomons.

    still working on 125 force

    Haven't been around in awhile, newest update on motor is that the head gasket was bad, but having trouble with 3 seized bolts. got it off far enough to see daylight between the head and block, so we will get it. the motor ran so nice except for overheating at wot. bought a new boat.(to me)...
