    What is the green foam in my 1969 45 hp Chrysler lower unit?

    there is a green foam in the lower unit of my 1969 chrysler outboard. what is it? and in the 3rd pic it is oozing out of a hole in the black part. there is a hole like that behind it with somethin like a screw or somethin it in. should there b something in the hole where the green foam is oozin out?

    i have a 1969 chrysler outboard, 45 hp, model 4545, and until yesturday everything worked fine. but wen i went out fishing yesturday on my way back wen i was going at slow speed or just idling the motor slowly shut off like it was running out of gas or something. it worked perfect wen u gave it...

    Re: Square Bolt behind flywheel the bolt is on the top of the motor right above the cylinders like in the pics posted about but here is a pic of my motor. on youtube i have seen ppl connect hoses to this spot and run the motor like that, is that safe to do?
