    #1. What should a tune up consist of if having a mechanic do the work and (#2) what should I expect to pay? #3. My motor does not have an air intake filter or baffle of any sort. Do I need one for machanical or safety reasons?

    My trailer has a short piece of chain attatched to the winch cable so I only have a foot to play with to hook to the bow of the boat. Is this chain needed in california. I have never seen this before.

    I just got this boat, 1988 bayliner capri BR, and the steering rod at the motor is rubbing a hole in the pocker it goes into on the port side of the boat.
