    1/8 gap. Are you talking the roller at the bottom of your carburetor linkage? Do I set that gap before I begin the link and sync procedure?

    Would the bleed valves cause the idle to be too rough to adjust idle? How can I check them to be working? I linked and synced everything and set timing but it will not idle unless I give it throttle. I checked spark and all cylinders jump 7/16 gap good

    When I am timing it with a timing light it does advance/retard the timing. But when setting idle when it is running, I couldn't get it to idle up. I bought a 19p prop to try but haven't had it back on water after that and carb rebuild

    Oh okay. I thought you adjust idle stop until the roller and cam just touch in the center before you start your link and sync.

    I don’t have any gap at WOT between the roller and cam. It’s pretty tight. When setting the roller to the cam there are 2 lines. Using the idle stop screw I line the smaller bottom line up to the center of the roller while keeping the carburetors closed then lock them down. Is this correct?
