    test for waterlogged foam?

    have a 17ft 1969 woodson tri hull,how would I go about checking to see if the foam under the floor is water logged without ripping up the floor?? it has a 1" hole in the bilge across from the drain hole in the transom. nothing seems to be runnig out,I stuck a screwdriver thru it and its free...

    have a 1969 woodson trihull (light boat) with a 79 rude 140,4 hrs on motor since rebuild,run a 13x21 ss cupped prop and it would only turn 38mph at 4400 wot. thinking that as light as the boat is it should have handled the prop well I would have thought, took a little while to get up to...

    :confused:what will changing the diameter of the prop do to the rpms and speed of the boat? I see that the props avalible for my rude are 12.75in. - 13in. - - 13.25in. - 13.75 - 14.0 all these are avalible with various pitches.. say if I went from a 13x17 to a 14x17 what changes would...

    tool ?

    need to set timing on 1979 evinrude 140 HP., I read the manuel and it tells me to install a piston stop tool into #1 cylinder spark plug hole in order to adjust the tdc pointer.. its not word for word,but I get the idea,have to set the timer pointer before setting the timing.. am I correct so...
