    Windows 7 Orphaned by Microsoft

Now that MS has severed support for Windows 7. who here is still running the old 'Easy to access features' OS? I despised Win 8 and the 4 times I've trialed 10, I have had nothing but Headaches and Contempt for it. UI is almost as bad as 8, and difficult to get to a complete Control Panel. Might...

    Military Outboard OMC 35hp

That is where it can get a bit complicated. While some parts are unique, the majority will be standard OMC 35 hp parts. But there were many subtle changes to the 35 hp thru the years. So picking the civilian model closest to what you have will take some sleuthing

    1973 mercury 1500 charging issues

Have you tried using an Analog Voltmeter? The DC coming out of the Rectifier is not of a Steady Voltage as it is basically a chopped or folded Sine Wave(depending on how many Diodes are in the Rectifier Assembly), no longer alternating from Positive to Negative volts of equal Value, but is now...

    1990 Evinrude 20 HP convert to 25 HP (Model # E20CRESB)

Looks like someone has been messing with the linkage and had no idea what they were adjusting. In the second pic, there are signs the collar has been moved. Loosen that set screw so the rod is free to move, and ignore it for now. The roller should just start to make contact with the cam, when it...

    90hp vs 115hp

In 1984, I replaced a crank rated(1978) 90 hp Mercury, with a prop rated(1984) 115 mercury. The boat went from 38mph, to 49mph. If it had been a crankshaft rated to crankshaft rated motor, or a prop shaft rated to prop shaft motor, the increase would have been about 5 mph
