    Wild horses today.

    Had to go up the hill near Lee Canyon, NV today and found these grazing. These were around 8,000'-8,500'. Shorty is using the bark to scratch his/her neck. Pic post test complete.

    Transom Seal Kit OEM # 986174

    I Need to pull the drive and align and reseal again but I see bellows/gimbal bearing kits being sold on ebay when I search for OMC 986174 (Yeah, I know NLA) are showing Sierra 18-2771 as an equal. Does anyone have experience with this part as a fitting replacement for the OMC 986174? Thanks

    Any of you southern California folks feel anything lately? I heard that L.A. had a recent quake and I am just curious as to what you experienced. The 1999 Hector Mine quake had my house riding on a wave. Haven't had any felt here since.

    Re: boat rivet repair Don't know much about tin boat rivets yet, but way back when I was a ventilation fabricator we had some systems that didn't allow "blind rivets". This is the Pexto tool I used back then. Tighten up the tin with the cylindrical oriface and finish with the mushroom.
