    Must be cold...

Wind gusts were over 100 which I found out later...but remember we were flooded by record floods for like 3 days. Broke all the records around here. Some of it is normal and I have pictures in years past (log wise) that are much worse. The rivers were raging and destroyed highways that are...

    Must be cold...

A little follow-up, tried to make it to help all my fellow Americans or washingtonians as they say, but they wouldn't allow me to get there. Now I agree with this because a lot of the people were trying to help but ended up needing help. Sometimes the human spirit kind of gets in the way. I...

Go on the old interweb, and look up how to remove a concealed throttle control box. Good luck.

No, I've never heard of his name or that speech. I also didn't know that JFK borrowed those lines. Either way, those words have lots of meaning with whomever speaks it. Words and meanings to live by. Heading north from the big city (Seattle) in about 2 hours or so...I may post a video or two...

    Must be cold...

Seattle or western Washington and even a bunch of eastern Washington is having record weather everything. Torrential rain, wind, massive snowmelt all combined to make rivers crest higher than 100 year record river peak records. Crazy stuff and I'm sure plenty of life loss. Still waiting for...

Upgrades for 92’ 25hp Johnson to gain some more speed!

Comedy Central is now here...and I got a good laugh. Jimbo was the best but Racerone was a close second. Sometimes just working on them or painting them different is fun... And I enjoy it. My 1974 Lund does 27 with a fully loaded boat. Motor is a 1985 fully stock 30 HP johnson...or is it...

Upgrades for 92’ 25hp Johnson to gain some more speed!

Dr Tim is very correct. He has found the force. Keep testing your 25. Are the butterfly's opening all the way? The correct link and sync have been done? Boat bottom clean? Many factors here.

Tilt Pin Replacement for 1987 Johnson 15 HP

They did make a submersible stainless one. Try one made after 1992. Common problem. Or, wire wheel yours and coat it in grease...good grease. Good luck

    2007 ETEC 150HP - won't turn off

Might be a brp issue really. My 115 E-tec harness wouldn't turn over one winter after shutting it down for the season. Months later, I tried to start it and no starter spin or power...gauges or anything. Screwed around a little while the key was in the on position and all of a sudden the pumps...

In an emergency, vice grips to the fuel line always works.

What prop to use 50hp evinrude

Proper prop pitch is also done, on a boat, fully loaded and properly trimmed. Once achieved, you must be in your rpm range.

Seems this issue already came up in 2017...see pic. I say build it....prove everyone wrong!

What prop to use 50hp evinrude

Can't quite tell but Michigan props have their own thrust washer...I recently padded one out using stainless steel washers modified by me to fit over the shaft. Proprietary system and could be your problem.

1994 Evinrude 50 HP Not Charging

Typically if the red wire does not go out to the battery, it fries the rectifier. (Dead heading)

    electric start

You can always do it by damaging the crankshaft threads with a drill gun on the flywheel nut like others but most likely no one here will recommend it. Cast your own flywheel perhaps and mount that lawnboy starter ...I've seen harder things made. 🤪
