    Prop help-1993 Mariner 30ELO on a 16' toon

A faulty check valve in the primer bulb would tend to not fill the carbs with fuel, rather than flood the engine. Most 2 cycle motors are pretty resistant to flooding. You will want to replace the primer bulb, however. To start that motor, pump the primer 'till hard. Lift cold start lever...

    Running Hot??

The thermostats are generally 140*F. The engine will generally run a bit hotter than that, say 175-190*F.

It happens on the Tri-toons because of the center pontoon creating a vacuum in front of the prop?

    Docking Aid

Gee, if you have someone to attach a line to the boat, you should not have any issues, nor should you need that "crash net". Once you get a line attached, use the engine to "walk" the boat to the dock.

Cavitation burn on the gearcase of a 'toon? I don't even get that on the gearcase of my speedboat. I do get it on the prop though.

2004 Johnson 40HP discharge from breather hose

On an automobile engine, I would look to clean the PCV valve. You can check the oil for gasoline infiltration, as well, by smell.

    Docking Aid

Gee, it kinda reminds me of the barriers used to catch airplane on a WWII Aircraft Carrier. You should only need one of those if you face strong winds or currents. Of course, on all boats, if you can get one line on a cleat, you can use the engine to complete the docking. Say you pull up to...
