    New Stuff on Vehicles likes/dislikes

LOL...have you ever driven an early 70's truck? And what modern engine do you plan on putting in this 70's truck? Where are you planning on buying a 70's truck that isn't a rusting hulk? What kind of truck do use currently? As far as not favoring anything that supports lazy/inattentive...

    New Stuff on Vehicles likes/dislikes

I passed on buying a 2018 GM truck because they didn't have it and bought a Ford instead. I worked for GM on adaptive cruise control in the the mid 90s. While working on it and our test vehicles, I realized how I would never buy a car without it. As far as random braking in traffic, it happens...

    My block is drained, right?

You have that back wards...The Vortec heads were designed with a different angle for the bolts going into the heads. This was because the old non-vortec heads/manifolds had the leaking issues...not the newer vortec ones.

    My block is drained, right?

There are many stories of people having milkshakes and find the intake manifold cracked on the Vortec 4.3L engines.

    My block is drained, right?

Make sure you drain the intake manifold on a later 4.3L that has Vortec heads. There is a plug facing the front.

Replacement Trim Hydraulic Pump for OMC Sterndrive

You can use the Volvo pump. Look for the part number using the "MD" as the model number which is the Volvo equivalent of your drive since you are in the joint venture years. The newer Volvo pump may look different. It would have the reservoir at the bottom.

    Solar charging batteries

Each cell appears to have 3.14V. That's actually a good sign. Let hem sit to see what voltage goes to. If they decay fast....the cells are toast

    Brake based limited slip differentials

Same here...never needed 4WD at a saltwater ramp but we do have nice ramps.

    Brake based limited slip differentials

In all my years of towing, I have needed 4WD once at a ramp and that was when the trailer axles fell off the edge of a ramp caused by people that power loaded. I have used electric locking rear ends and 4WD a lot because we own two vacation homes in the mountains

And then professors actually realized that if you were smart enough to use the correct formula, it didn't matter if you had them programmed into your calculator or had them written down on a piece of paper(also eventually allowed) since that was what you do in a real job in the real world.

My friend used it to help him write a wedding speech for his son. He put in all the main points he wanted to say and ChatGPT helped him write it. I have used it to help me write some important letters.

Right now, if I was still designing( am a retired EE), I could have AI write physical code with 15 minutes of input from me that would basically save me an entire day of coding. I have a Raspberry PI single board computer that I am playing with writing Python code for it. I have a couple...

Seen WAY worse. Just have to take off the front skid plate which is two bolts. I put in a Ronin plug so I don't have to take off the felt underliner.
