    Easiest way I found is run the drill in reverse until you make it thru the gelcoat. You can continue clear thru in reverse so long as you don't run into wood or other, but can go forward once past gelcoat.     Timing is set at 2* ATDC (yes after not before) This is the procedure but use 2 ATDC instead of what the procedure shows Try removing one spark plug at a time while idling and see if each plug causes the same amount of miss. Also recheck your firing order

    It has a thermocouple which only allows the pilot light to stay lit, need more to open the valve further. Fireplace valves are variable, not like a furnace which opens to a specific size when called upon
