    New Stuff on Vehicles likes/dislikes

I figured I'd cross check the same source for mine out of curiosity. They can be found used in the $200-$400 range. I guess when the vehicle is 100k that msrp makes sense.

I'll have to watch it closer and see what all it does it would make sense at really slow speeds it would try to avoid lugging as well.

Interesting. My 22 f150 does not seem to skip 2 or 4 all the time. (Can watch it indicate each gear and feel each gear on acceleration in normal mode) seems to do it more in slow traffic or very light acceleration. The denali is so smooth I couldn't tell you if it does or doesn't as I really...

So far, my 19 has given me no reason to suspect it won't go 300k+. As of right now I'm half way there. That being said the 07, 03, and 04 are well beyond that on just brakes and tires so.... probably should've kept the 04. Edit for clarification: if anything gives me issue, it will be the HMI...

The 10 speed in the denali is pretty good. The (more or less the same) 10 speed in the ford is a jerking shuddering mess. Coincidentally the 10 speed in my cousins sierra behind the 6.2 does the same thing as the ford. In both those cases I equate it to someone not knowing how to drive stick in...

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

I got a case of gloves (box with like 20 boxes in it) from the county for free 99. They "expired" so they had to get rid of them. I mean technically my taxes paid for it but still. Yeah it's insane how many you go through. I tried the dishwasher gloves too but hate the loss in dexterity.

Had the displeasure of driving a rolling dumpster (cybertruck) the only good thing I can say about it was getting out of it ASAP. A lot of the accidents here have been the Teslas. Mainly because the inbreds well... they drive them like inbreds. Natural selection needs not be curved at this...

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

I still love the snow. And I somehow became important enough at work that they send a plow truck to come get me if needed so I don't even need to worry about driving my own vehicle in it....

Just out of curiosity, what vehicle? Most any ive had let you turn it off for regular cruise but I imagine there are a few out there...

Replacing a transom on a 1989 Starcraft Islander.

I did the same thing as above, but with titebond III. I removed the screws after and drilled them out larger so the peanut butter would have more bite to adhere to. Not necessary on an aluminum though.

    Black Friday

I was looking at a few things but as has been the case last several years, the prices aren't good enough to where I bought anything.

Redoing a Starcraft Islander transom using Coosa board.

I made a jig from a wood block to drill the mounting holes on mine. Ran it on the drill press with the right sized bit then drilled.

Boat is put away for winter. What to do every day ?

I hear that. The plant has been flooded more than usual this time of year too and the salt line has rolled pretty far up stream due to it. Dad's been out for a few years with the back now so we haven't made a run in a while. Boat is still in but getting him motivated to actually go to it, let...

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

I thought fine was more subject to loosening than coarse... but it's been a long time time since I did materials. Beyond that in the scope of pedestrian hardware I don't know there is much a difference between coarse and fine otherwise. I prefer fine as they nuts seem to thread on easier. No...
