    Have you core sampled the stringers and transom yet. If they need replaced you'll be buying resin and glass for sure. GM280 is spot on. No way to "ShortCut" the restoration process. You might find this helpful...

    To answer question specifically...Other kinds of epoxy for filling holes...PC-11 Sold at ALL Ace Hardware stores and Home Depot's 1lb kit about $30 bucks. Shelf life over 3yrs. I know cuz mine is that old and still cures great!!!!

    Missing drain hole?

    The other way to do it is to oversize drill the hole @ 1 1/2" and fill it completely with PB. Let it cure for a day, then come back and drill the 1" hole for the drain tube. You'll have a 1/4" coat of solid glass all around the tube. You won't have any issues with it again. this crude drawing...

    Here's a diagram of how you will tab the new transom to the hull... This is why you should remove the old Inner wall. You can tab directly to the hull sides and bottom

    Are we talking about drilling the holes when the transom is on sawhorses OR after it's installed in the boat? If it's IN the boat you have to angle them with the angle of the outer skin
