    I don’t have a cam like that but even if I did, it wouldn’t matter. The deer don’t come around when I’m there, they come around at night. Ugh.

    Gee, when I was burning wood I would go through around 15 cords every winter. It’s 4* f right now here in northern Wisconsin. The furnace is working perfectly for now.

    Pretty much how mine looked. Once I pulled it down it was obvious. it certainly wouldn’t hurt to replace the gasket just for peace of mind. As others have mentioned, the Y pipe could be it also, or your transom is compromised. As far as the mercathode, I don’t know, mine didn’t have one.

    When you drop the manifold it should be pretty easy to see if it is the gasket. Mine was cracked, but if it’s squished out or such you should be able to spot it.

    Have you checked the gasket on the trim manifold at the bottom of the gimbal housing? That’s where I found my leak just like that. I had enough room to remove the lines after I unbolted it from there. Really Not to bad of a fix.

    Hope they get in trouble for that, it’s the same as hunting with an airplane and telling one’s on the ground where the deer are at. Totally illegal around here!

    Around here there is a guy that helps recover deer. But if he spots them still alive after being shot he can’t disclose the location, it’s illegal to do that for harvesting them.     I should have been more clear, if I do road hunt it’s in the national forest, no private property. And I never shoot from the road, that’s not legal. I look for signs of where deer cross and such, get out and lock up the vehicle and get out and slowly move the the forest. I’ve gotten deer that...

    17” , plow plugged the driveway again. I don’t get mad at them but it sucks. Still have to get out to the hunting blind, probably take it down as where it’s at is more than likely a whole lot more snow and the deer are not going to come around that area anymore.     Ex brother in law did the same thing. I had an extra tag so we just tagged it. They both laid right on top of each other. He said he didn’t see the 2nd deer standing behind the other one till he walked up and there they were!

    Hot water heater

    That valve on the cold line is a bypass for winterizing. Perhaps it’s broken internally. In the position it’s in now, it should work normally. When winterizing you turn the valve so it bypasses the heater as you do not want to fill the heater with anti freeze, you simply drain the heater.

    I think if you do the bypass of the hoses would be a good test of what’s going on. If it doesn’t get hot when bypassed you narrowed it down to an issue with a check valve or heating coil. You could pressurize the hoses separately from the system and see if it leaks down.

    The heat exchanger will still leak out so it will empty the water tank. Unless you cap the hoses or plug them.

    Play in steering then found this..

    That’s normal, it has to move for the power steering. Have you checked the steering pin for play at the top of the gimble housing? or are you getting the normal bow wander at slow speed?
