    Watched the launchings from redstone on. Something about the Atlas just stuck with me as massive show of power. The Titan looked ..clean and tame to me, not as impressive. Then came Saturn V., no equal, just massive. Just rememberings from a 8+ year old boy.

    I have an outside antenna that gets aerial broadcast. Nbc, abc, cbs, fox..then others, qvc, grit, hsn, court tv, metv, ...some more. supplemented by sling, paramount+, netflix, prime...all pay. then some free apps like Pluto, you tube, roku. have not missed cable.

    yep, strange new worlds, a good retro representation. I couldn't get into "Enterprise" too much. Didn't care for any of the spinoffs like deep space 9, etc. New Generation became "better" to me after awhile. The original series: we have "communicators" now. Laser weapons are a reality...

    why is the 4L60E garbage? Would like to know for preventative reasons. When towing my pontoon, I use Tow Haul mode and sometimes with 3rd gear , not "D". Also have an external cooler that keeps my trans temps no higher than 170-180 F. , usually stays around 150 ish. Fluid has been changed twice...

I then tell him what I read months earlier. So he bites the bullet and gets the toyota...if memory...

    and I thought I'd heard that the GM 6.2 owners lost that class action suit. or was it the 5.3 AFM suit. Or the tranny suit. Can't keep it straight. I'm wary of my '08 silverado's 5.3 and the AFM. Also the 4 speed automatic. fingers crossed.

    when you replace a battery in a 2012 volvo, you have to have vida/dice or a capable scanner to reset the battery monitor. If you don't, then the system may not charge the battery appropriately. BS again.

    and there are all kinds of "devices" on top of my battery in the new car. Rumor has it that when I go to replace the battery, these devices can detect whether or not the replacement battery is the "toyota" battery?...time will tell. But this isn't unknown.     eh...it's an algorithm thing. Basically same answer from toyota and toyotanation, so just gonna let it be. It's just when using auto stop/start. I may run my testers on the battery later if something develops. a battery sensor should set a code....there are no codes.

    and now....a brand new toyota cross, just a little over 1000 miles...... and I'm getting a start/stop unable - battery charging message...lol battery is at 12.6v and charging is +/- 14v......not a hybrid. let the games.......
