    Yeah I'm doing handyman work to cover booze and boats, and she doesnt go with me much so downsized to this plus too old to launch 26 footers by myself. Wife still works it's just the pending finality of it all. First time I've been this old and wasn't expecting to get here.

    Dark gets hot quickly. Had a bayliner with dark blue and on a partly cloudy day the sun could pop out an in minutes too hot to sit on and lean against. Always had to have a towel down. On my last boat i had very similar colors to your pic, a touch more tan, with no issues.

    When I was daydreaming of putting outboards on the Carver, the old engine area would have been mostly fuel tank. Can't remember the numbers but range would have been fantastic. Over doubled, close to triple iirc. I had dreams of doing the great loop at planing speeds in my 23 footer. I miss...

    I've not gotten into all the offshoot. Too many at one imo. And honestly until the age of the internet in it ubiquitous form, I was always about 5 years behind knowing about a new series. Didnt discover tng until about 97
