    pressure test the motor's water jacket. it should hold 15 psi that manifold looks like it may have froze. at a minimum, you need new exhaust manifolds.

    you read wrong. muffs when the garden hose is turned on full will produce more pressure than your pump produces. no tell tale on muff means you didn't have the spigot on full, or you have an issue.

    the safety lanyard is usually just a break in the ignition wire. so if its not working, nothing back to the engine will work. follow the purple wire from the key switch, it then goes thru the safety lanyard, then to the motor.
