    It is a water cooled rect/reg. A weak impeller will not fill the water passge up internally in the block causing it to overheat and fail. They need a impeller every 2 years no matter how good it pee's

    It only got a 12 amp charging system and this is at WOT. You could only use a single bank model (MK-1) and charge 1 battery.     I cant remember all the details on why but it had to do with the bleed restrictors and flow.

    Same CFM goes to each cylinder as reed block only feeds needed cylinder in firing order on the up stroke.

    This is a Ficht and doesn't have Quickstart. They are known on the 60°motors to break the TPS if cables are not set up correctly, especially with a hot foot.

    Top piston damage on these our usually water cooling related or ignition problem. Make sure you replace impeller and switchbox (OEM)

    The shim/s are used to adjust crankshaft end play or "float" as I like to call it. Due to casting and machining some blocks will need several and some none. As Racer stated if it didn't have any it doesnt need any unless it was previously disassembled. What made piston go bad?
