    This fitting is leaking thru a very tiny pin hole in the fitting itself. Pictures do not show threads on the new part. How to remove and install the new one? Thanks

    Your spring package is not correctly located in the axel perch and the U bolts are not straight either implying the axel length is incorrect for the springs package. Plus putting the brake wiring in the axel is really a stupid idea. Allows water to enter and rust from the inside out

    pump has not been changed, filter shows nothing. I can understand the rochester being dirty inside but not the edelbrock. I`ll post an update in the spring. This is the same pump that was on the motor when the OP owned it and same carb. Never an issue.

    Could always drop the motor in, align everything, spray paint thru the front mounts to mark the new holes. You want the front mounts attacked to correctly locate the new holes or locate the original factory jig plate like this...

    When you have an old transom with the snap ring retainer and are replacing the bearing with a new style the snap ring is not used. You just drive the bearing in.
