    Well I had to replace the powerhead gasket on my 18hp Tohatsu ( which may be surprisingly similar ) new rebuild ( I screwed up and had a water leak ) any how I had to disconnect the throttle link and the reverse lock out link which takes about as much time to do as it takes to type it...

    And just to show life sux , Di tells me last night the cat bought in another half chewed mouse , spat it out and it disappeared under my chair and hasn't been seen since...............and now the cat is circling the chair so I know its in there .
