    Big G I think what they are trying to say is that the Motor is way too low in the water. Your transom cut out in addition to the low motor is going to cause you a wash out in following seas and your motor will drown. The cavitation plate is correct. Shaft, motor, transom need redo.

    Air tight compartments blow on a boat this size. A little skippy yea ok. Boat is made to do rough waters. Simplicity is water in and water out. Proper prep is what this is all about.
