    I'd hoped to get a little KF work done this morning before leaving for my doc appointment. I wanted to drill pilot holes for the top side of the bow brace and then screw the brace up tight so that we could move straight on to the starboard side this afternoon. Not happening. Too cold for us...

    Back in the mid-to-late 80s, I had a 1972 Capri like the one in this pic, except mine had a sunroof. I used it as a daily driver/beater to go back and forth to work so that I didn't have to risk my SVO Mustang in all the horrendous northern California traffic in the SF Bay area. Ugh. :rant...

    This morning we got the little TV and the cable box moved up to the high shelf. Tested it all and everything is working okay. Still awaiting delivery of the items I need to finalize the installation. But we're up and running! :D

    Today we did some scrounging around and found a 1/8" stereo mini-plug to RCA cable that I had tucked away. Hooked the new TV up to the stereo receiver and the sound was excellent! I ordered a remote outlet controller and will be able to power the TV on/off with that once it's connected...

    Made progress today. I finally ordered some cotton-pickin' rivets!! :lol: We did other stuff too. :p Traced the bow brace pieces onto the new plywood. Clamped the new ply into place. Jigsaw with new blade and safety gear on hand.

    The only thing I did related to the KF today was to put the trolling motor for sale on craigslist. That 28 lb. thrust MotorGuide just isn't quite enough for this boat. I've known that for awhile but time is getting to the point where I need to get a replacement with more thrust pretty soon...
