    What are you cleaning up??? Did you use a new circulator pump?? Tighten you clamps with a socket after you think they are tight with screwdriver.Very common safety practice is to double clamp everything.Very cheap insurance.Charlie

    Most should be able to unscrew and just screw in new.Dont overtighten .Dont use 42 or 5200 sealant as it wont lock it in.I always had success filling the hole with gelcoat repair and hand screwing in the snap while curing.Not the perfect way of doing it but quick and effective.Charlie

    I have been on one owned by a friend.If I remember correctly it looked very nice from the outside however once aboard all seemed extremely cheaply made.The hull looked very thin and single wall basic .I did not like it once aboard at all.Sorry I dont remember much else.Hope this helps.Charlie

    Drive is mounted so only a few things i can reply on.Shifter is a dual Uline. Receiver looks good but I can inspect closer.I usually grease that too.

    The best center console money can buy is a 17ft Mako.I have had one for over 20 years and it is tough as nails.I very highly recommend it.As with any older boat ,have it professionally checked out .it will be the best couple of hundred bucks you will ever spend.Charlie

    b29keebird Call 1800 USREGAL and ask for the parts dept.Keep trying until you get someone on the line from parts.Extremely knowledgable.They will be able to give you the original factory specs for prop.Thats what I would use.Charlie

    What you are asking for is a prop specifically for pulling skis or tubes.I dont think that is what you really want.A hi rpm prop is a speed prop which is easier on the motor and better fuel economy.Charlie

    Nice diagram,thanks.so mt position is adjusted uppr as far as it goes already.When i tried moving it down a bit i lost everything.do you think adjusting this down and then tweaking the lower barrel until i get fwd and rev is an option.Then i still have the upward adjustment that I can do??
