    Merc 4 stroke worn out with low hours

    It could be an issue with really small 4 strokes, I suppose, being overworked. They have to work harder than 2 strokes since they're heavier. I have a 2003 Johnnyrude 60hp 4 stroke. Best motor I've ever owned... I guess newer is relative, I consider it old. 20yrs old to be exact..
