    sounds like a blown head gasket .Symptoms being , water in only one pot , water in oil and no compression in that pot . Maybe head gasket #6 cylinder blown thru water jacket on intake side and into lifter valley or push rod hole .

    I travel with my aux motor down . I only take it off if Im worried someone will nick it . I do use it for trawling tho ..... goes for hours on a litre of fuel :)

    Gotta take care of your nuts too . To much bouncing around , particularly in boxers is not good . Standing at the helm , feet 18"apart , every time the boat bottoms out gravity gives them a wee tug . An hour or so of that is plenty .

    Well firstly ......you are not going to "blow a hole in the combustion chamber" by giving it to much throttle .....there must have been some other issue . To get on the plane .... trim down and full throttle ( or very near ) and as the boat gets up on the plane trim up and reduce throttle ...
