    Pump themed anchor

    I like it ! Work themed ,shiney ,home built ,unique and a bit cool too. That would work ,sometimes when fishing over sand or gravel I move the boat by just dragging the anchor.......it would be ideal for that

    7 years ago ? Do you use the trim a lot ? ....I do . Also it wouldnt hurt to make sure the trim motor is within spec.🙂.

    Yeah , ok , blue cod is 70 bucks a kg but that premium fish here . You can get other fresh fish for a bit over half that . Everything here in NZ is stupid expensive.

    I dunno , 6kg of blue cod fillets retails for 420 bucks and I burn 6L ($18) of fuel to get it . Boat et all cost me 6k,and if you allow say $500 for rods, fishfinder etc I only have to have 13 such trips and I am on top , TBH I probly have only just got there as some trips we got only 1 or 2...

    I think that was what was actually written in my Dads new (early 70's) Seagull outboard owners manual . Did you guys ever have them available in the US/Canada ?

    Yeah , you'd think aye . I wonder if you give it a really good yank (the pull cord ) could you spin it fast enough to deactivate the decompressor before it gets a chance to fire 😁and then hit full compression ,possibly backfire and stop dead 🤔
