    BOOM!!

Put a supercharger on that bad boy! If some is good, more is better and too much is just right! I know you have 205HP with your I/O but you're also pulling along an extra 400 lbs. of weight compared to the outboards, if my calculations are correct. I have a 1985 50HP Mercury that...

What size was that Jupiter? Sixteen feet? Looks bigger. And what size were those motors?

    BOOM!!

Diggin' through my pile o' pix, I found this one where I photo edited a 3 brace option for the twins. Of course, once I start the actual resto thread, I'll explore it further. Transom might need a little work first.

    BOOM!!

I also explored several layout options. The drawings are "semi-scale" but give a general idea.

    BOOM!!

A couple more pix. These were from the PO. Now that the "Ghost Chief" has been revealed, I'll be taking more recent pix and getting them uploaded. I actually haven't even looked inside these lockers, although my wife has.

    BOOM!!

In the 3 months that the boat has been sitting untouched (other than a little scrounging) I've had plenty of time to figure out several things for the boat. Firstly - this boat will be used in the Gulf so I wanted backup propulsion. I'm not a fan of small kicker motors so the obvious solution...

    BOOM!!

Yessir! We be havin' some fun now!! :victorious: Man! I can't believe I didn't think of Bada boom! Or Big Bada Boom! Well, according to the original capacity plate that came with the boat, it's rated at 150HP. And boy, do I ever have plans! :D Yes, it's an 18 footer. I made...

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Another intruder! This one caught and released unharmed last night. We have no idea how it was getting under the house because we didn't find a breech point anywhere, but hopefully it will have learned the lesson. The cat wasn't feral and must have weighed 15 pounds! A true fat cat!

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Back to normal. Didn't secure the frame members with screws or straps or anything yet though. That time will come. In the meantime, we'll keep a closer eye on things in order to prevent a recurrence. My wife scooped most of the water out and I managed to get the rest. I'd say there was 100...

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Oops. I waited too long to reattach the overhead frame rails on the shelter. It rained last night and the part that was hanging down filled with water. All seems okay though. Just need to get it bailed out and the overhead frame posts pushed back together. The boat is okay too. Just another...

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Well guys, the tent shelter made it through the storms okay. Just the top frame rail popped loose. Need to put it back together then add a couple screws to keep it from happening again. Will get my neighbor friends to help with that.

    No! Emergency ;) :) :) :)

Buddy of mine lives in Johnstown, PA. Yesterday they were predicting 4-6 inches. He sent me this pic of his patio a little while ago. Says they're at 22 inches and still counting.

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Just a quick update that nothing has been done for the last month. Been having side effects from meds and simply can't do any physical effort. Doc said to just chill and recover. It'll all be better but it takes time. A shame too because the weather finally got right and I have SIX major...

1967 Starcraft resto, code name "On Holiday"

Oh man, my heart goes out to ya on that one. I had the exact same thing on my Kingfisher. I don't recommend using a cutoff wheel to get them out. My deck was still usable before I started but I ended up with grooves around the screw holes when I was done. Not only unsightly, but that method...
