    Ayuh,..... Anybody else heard of Globe Impellers,..?? The blue impellers,.... I put one in my ole tin fishin' barge, 4.3LX- Alpha 1,.... Ran it 10 years or more, 'n it was still pumpin' just fine, when I pulled the driveline, 'n junked the barge,.....

    Ayuh,.... There's more to rebuildin' a trashed motor, than just throwin' new parts at it,..... You really need a machine shop's services to get it right,..... The block needs to be boiled out, to get rid of all the metal from the failure,.... With a new crank, the block should be line bored...

    Ayuh,...... Welcome Aboard,...... What carb is on it now,..?? 'n you Don't want a "Racing"intake,.... Yer motor's redline is 4800/ 5 grand,..... not 6 or 7 grand,.... For a 4bbl. you want a mid- hi-rise dual plane intake,..... Cast iron is preferred, but ya might get by with...

    Ayuh,.... Go to yer local hardware store, 'n buy some rattlecans of Rustoleum,.... Rustoleum has self-etching primers, bare metal primes, sandable primers, 'n rusty metal primers,..... The gloss black enamel is just as black, 'n just as shiny as Merc Phanton Black,...... Wax it next year...
