    to @Lou C 's point . . . The newer boats/engines have CATS (and I never knew that cats like being on boats :ROFLMAO: ) So, if you are running in the ocean WITHOUT a full closed cooling system with these new engines, you'll be replacing your exhaust about every 5 years. The Mercuiser 8.2...
