    Agree, running lean My guess is you idled back, and later pulled plugs. Only reason there isn't more white is because of idle time. Your ECM is nost likely saving your motor by retirding timing. Only way to verify is with scanner

    Have not messed with them but I would first look at what is causing them to go slack. Did the rails bend or is the deck holding the rails getting soft @tpenfield may have some ideas

    The prior owner put a fuse on both +and - wires, not needed but won't hurt anything. Could remove the -ve fuse and attach direct Might think about getting a couple buss bars (+/-) and move all those wires to the buss bars and just 2 wires from Bat to each BB

    Suggest remove the drive and connect water hose to thermostat housing where the water comes in from the drive. See if same noise is there If it is, feel around the manifold to see if exhaust is leaking out

    Assuming the water transfer pump, meaning circulating water pump on front of motor If the outdrive impeller is in pieces then there will be no water going thru motor The attachment did not make the trip
