    Easy fix for voltage drop(?)

the leading cause of voltage drop is bad connections. start at the battery, and work your way to the motor and the helm by cleaning every connection with 150 grit sand paper until they are clean and shiny enough your mother in-law would eat off them. this includes the block and starter...

    Which Sealant?

I would strip the remainder of failing varnish. use oxalic acid to lighten up the stains. apply a few layers of old timers formula to the wood, then a few layers of spar varnish. followed up by replacing the clear polycarbonate with a clear silicone 50 year caulk. otherwise you could do...

    Motor mount bed angle

because in the grand scheme of things, that is what the shims of wood under the mount does just before they drive the lag bolts in with a burb gun at 125psi of shop air.

2 Fuel Water filters ,2 totally different fuel contents,Fuel pros ,have a look at this

one filter got a slug of un-diluted stabilizer. BTW, if you run your boat tank close to empty, just fill up in the spring. no stabilizer needed.

    1978 Chrysler floor help?

if that is a true statement. you are the very very first fiberglass boat to ever need a floor and not stringers or transom out of hundreds of thousands of restorations here on iboats. I seriously suggest you buy a lottery ticket or test drill into the stringers

    Motor mount bed angle

that is what shims are for and why the mount is semi-spherical. the answer is yes. you can be parallel to the keel or perpendicular to the transom. that 15 degrees wont mater to most mounts I myself like to mount the transom shield, hang and align the motor, then make the mounts parallel to...

    Rewire Electrical

then go at it a different way. start at the battery, clean every terminal on the way to the motor and up to the helm with sand paper. then seal the connectors with marine electrical varnish

Blowby through vent tube? Mercruiser 3.7

looks like the aluminum and ring material may have had condensation sitting on them and it could be galvanic corrosion in the one pic when you zoom in. I would trust a good metal sleeve, however a replacment block would be my recommendation.

considering the carb itself is usually $200, the spark arrestor is $50 and the intake is about $100

Chartplotter with gauges and future expansion for a lake boat?

correct. unless you have a need to invest in a complete engine gateway and a second set of sensors. I would skip moving the engine related stuff to the screen. the most important gauge you can get is raw water pressure. https://ww2.iboats.com/Boat-Water-Pressure-Gauges/dm/view_id.248016 a...
