    Mines an Arctic Cat 500 4x4. I've had 2 AC atv's over the years and never had any complaints with either, never in the shop for anything. My brother just bought a 6 wheel Can AM Outlander. That,s nice too. Make sure you get a winch installed, they can be a life saver if you get stuck!

    Yeah, I'm with the 4x4 ATV advice. I never shoot a moose I can't drive my ATV right up to. Last one my brother shot, we even used the atv winch to raise the quarters in my garage to hang them. No lifting involved. No point getting older if you don't get wiser!

    Would the problem be the inflatable itself? Inflatables are harder to get up to a similar speed in a boat I've read. Maybe the inflatable is bending slightly up on the front when starting to pick up speed and changing its resistance to the water?

    Those bunks with the holes already in them have likely been wet a long time. I doubt the holes you found there chalked over were part of the original design. There is likely water soaked foam in there as well. They have to come out and be replaced IMO. I'll admit the transom don't look too bad...

    I think its water in your oil. It bubbled when you heated it and then went clear. That was the water boiling off and leaving clear oil, IMO.     Impeller spun?!?!?!?

    I don't know anything about these outdrives, but in your picture on the outdrive on muffs there is water coming out of a hole just forward of the muffs. Is this normal? The hole has the paint gone, like its dented?
