    the airbus that stalled and crashed into the ocean was Air France flight 447 back in 2009. IIRC....they speculated the plane had a frozen pitot tube from an icing event and the pilots ignored the altimeter when the autopilot turned off and the pilot kept trying to climb, putting the plane...

    M rated trailer tires. 81mph. although only D load rating (8 ply). Next set will be Q-rated trailer tires (99mph) with an E load rating (10 ply)

    the shimmy and spray of rubber told me I lost a tire. probably faster than the TPMS would have indicated. just 3/4 hour prior I had checked the tire pressures prior to leaving the camp ground.

    Today's electronic transmissions have an ECM that controls a bunch of solenoids controlling the torque converter and all the clutches. Nothing is mechanical anymore The T-case actuator is just a worm gear actuator that turns the selector.
