    Ayuh,.... Then you'll need to drop some prop pitch,..... Donno how much though, depends on which ratio the drive is,..... What prop pitch were you running on the I-4, when it had the proper ratio,..?? Hopefully, you'll be able to find a prop small enough,.....

    No,...... Pull the drain plugs, probe the holes with a pick to knock any crud outa the way, then when drained, put the drain plugs back in,.... Also, remove the bottom of the big hose, to drain any water hidden in the circulating water pump,....

    Ayuh,...... Welcome Aboard,.... The housings should be the same,.... The gear ratios will be different though,..... The I-4 should be 1,98:1,.... The I-6 could be 1.84:1, or 1.65:1,......

    Ayuh,...... What manual is that,..?? The 1.32:1 ratio was only offered for a short time, with the 351 Ford Windsor motors,.... The original 302s ran the 1.50:1 ratio,....

    Ayuh,...... Have you cross-checked the tach against a known good shop tach,..?? yer numbers don't sound right,..... That motor should be happiest at 4400/ 4800 rpms @ Wot,..... And, yer not gonna find a 13" prop,..... 15" is as small as they go from an I/O,.....
