    Plywood will last a long time if sealed properly, either csm and polyester resin or Old Timer's Formula ( a sealant the woodworking guys here came up with I think). Do not use treated plywood, the chemicals react with aluminum and cause corrosion.

    I'm not exactly sure what style livewell you have, but many are plastic ones that have machine screws securing them to the casting deck. If this is the case for you, open the lid above the livewell and feel around the the livewell ceiling for the nuts.

    Sometimes, the rear pedestal seats have a bar going all the way down to the inner hull for support. You may need to seperate that. I've also seen the decks themselves with these supports.

    You definitely need some way to hold the lids when the last screws come out. They can get pretty heavy, and trying to hold the lid in one hand and the drill in another is asking to slip and scratch something. Can you strap them up to exposed rafters or something?

    Here's a starting point, take off all of the lids. Lable each one, keep the screws in a labeled cup or ziplock. Use two people, one to hold the lids while you take them off. It's your project, so give the helper the easier task.
