Yeah, I winged it....my French needs much improvement!
And I did forget about the big 3 until you mentioned it, but I don't use mine. I've retired that to wall art!
Not everyone knows your real name and I'm at work so I put in the abbreviated version of "crosbyman"
Battery wise, you already told me how to do it and it's quite genius really.
Now we might want to work on our short term memory! 🥴
Yes, everyone on here has these....in fact I have the original 30 volt battery. Tried to recondition it but some goo drip on my finger and now my face is gone!
Yes, Jaques (The Cros) has all the neat stuff.
Look, we all need to take a big breath. What Mc tool is explaining as you can do lots of things on muffs but you can't do everything. A test tank is great but not everybody has one. I do and I have test props to go in it. If you're talking about a barrel full of water that's not a test tank. We...
Muffs are not useless...and, if you have diaphragm damage to the fuel pump that's the test.
Best of luck to you, your obviously a thinking man but perhaps in this moment your "overthinking"
99.9% chance solve why it's not priming and your cured. I wouldn't even stick the hose back on the carb nipple until fuel comes out everytime you push the key. If it was mine, I would have solved this a long time ago.
If you suspect the fuel pump, become the human fuel pump and pump the primer...
Wow, your old school....like me really. More of a diagram than fiche really and I must say Marineengine.com has a better platform for looking at the parts and pieces.
That being said, I still don't have an answer for you but a couple things I want to mention. Almost always, the OEM parts or...
Didn't watch the video because I don't want to download it...YouTube videos are better.
That being said, how are the mating surfaces?
Others will have better info I believe.
Agreed. Aren't you a mid West guy?
Seems like you were but I believe anyone in a cold climate can increase their boat use if they convert to this....
Enjoy.

Agreed, pia job.
I didn't really understand what the second guy was going to do. Is that his way of getting the upper side motor mounts without removing the mid section tilt/steer assembly?
If so, seems like a hack not worth doing.
The moderator might chime in and mention re-igniting an old post is against the rules. Start a new thread, mention you read an old post and ask your question. 10 year old posts rarely answer back.
In a nutshell, yes. Watch online videos....there's many. Than do it once....you will learn even if you do it wrong.
I know what scenario your talking about but we're on post 58 or something so I'm not going to back and hunt around....isn't this the thread where you were having starter issues...
Okay...not sure what all that means but lots of stuff you put out is over my head.
I'll see if I can play around with it but my phone already has been taken over by AI. In fact recently it was wrong and I filed some business taxes incorrectly. I have a bone to pick with Mr AI! 🤣
I have one and it works ok. I tried to extend the wire once and it didn't work. Mine goes out a little but works well enough to give me the information I need.
Seems like it but once you understand it it's not. What's hard is doing and being right on is more difficult. Sometimes it takes me more than once.
You can do it...trust me
You should post the video of how to do the front one for others to see.
Yes, rear ones are tough...I know of no videos on the rear, hopefully someone has one.
