    Build a Barge Workshop

^^^ Right? :giggle: But, this did have a USB charger port on it, which will be nice to have out on the boat. It works.

    Build a Barge Workshop

Sorry y'all ... I missed a notice that someone bumped this. I can't believe - in a pandemic - how busy life has been. One kid off to USAF, one got married, a vacation trip with the Admiral's family; not to mention trying to keep a business alive. Crazy. The deck is all off of the 'toon...

    Tankless Hot Water Heater Recommendation

I've never had one, so I'm only going on the couple people I know who did. Most places around here heat water with electricity, and that may play a role. But both of them had service issues within a couple years of putting it in, and then like GM said - not quite enough supply. For the cost...

    Tankless Hot Water Heater Recommendation

I have several friends who told me the same thing ... opted to stay with the tank at my place.

    1st Boat Recommendation - Ontario

My boat is around 18 years old. My last one - still in use - is over 45. Any reason a pontoon doesn't fit the bill?

    1st Boat Recommendation - Ontario

What type of water are we talkin' 'bout? Big lakes, rivers, small lakes? Where your boating drives as much of the suggestions. There's really no such thing as boat that does everything, so you'll have to know where you want to compromise. Have you tried renting something and seeing what you...

    Slip and Slide

Looks familiar ... not as much metal involved in my case, but similar frustration. Glad it wasn't any worse for ya' AD.

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

I know the Leica is valuable, even now. I haven't looked up the Contessa, but I would guess it's worth a little bit. Frankly, I think film capture is (at least in many cases) still superior to digital. BUT, the gap is closing. There is something about large format black and white film though...

    First Engine Rebuild you did

Closest I've done to a rebuild was probably the work I did on the Silverline (GM 250, I6). But I've been thinking about taking one on sometime. I'm not great at it, but I enjoy it ... for some weird reason.

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

I haven't shot film in years until these two rolls. Digital is just TOOO easy. But Dad had all kinds of stuff. His Hasselblad was sold long ago, but there are some fun things like a Brownie Hawkeye, and Kodak 35 from the 40s I'm guessing and a couple of land cameras that I'm guessing are sold...

    Engine Serial Number Decoded

Welcome aboard: I don't think that's an engine model. I think you might be seeing a part number. Typically, there's a tag on the engine somewhere with the model number stamped on it. Do you have picture?

LOL ... crazy, but yes. Kodak even. And then ... even crazier ... there are places out there to have it processed.

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

Had some fun in the last couple of months. I snagged two of Dad's cameras after he passed and shot some photos. Real live film photos from a 1950s era Zeiss Camera: They were shot a while ago. I just got around to getting the processing done.

    Amazing 3D Printing

Actually - you can do a lot through some freebie software out there. The printer should have software you can download for it to actually print. Some of the 3D software that is available open source is VERY good. I'm using one of them for design work. If you want names, let me know.
