    When the engine is not running you should see about 12.6/7 . And when running like mentioned above, 13.5 14.5 v. And clean both ends of the cables.

    I think you will find it's a winner. If I'm going fishing I just unsnap the carpet and roll it up and stow it in the cuddy with the beer cooler.

    My Searay floor is non skid with the snap in carpet. Makes it easy to clean both.

    You mentioned that the body of the craft looks good as far as you can see. The problem with boats is most don't see far enough. Before you dump a bunch of coins into the motor be sure to look far enough to actually see the structure of the hull.

    I have done this, I had a piece of copper soft pipe so I could access the lowest end of the tank.thats where the water settles..
