    Hate to be a downer, but have you considered that there might be smaller voids and empty channels all thru the contact area between the plywood and outer skin? You might be only detecting the big ones. Maybe for saftey sake and peace of mind you should just take out the plywood and do over...

    Moving from IO to OB experiences?

    I switched over from I/O on mine to a 4 stroke OB and haven't got one regret. The motor is way better on gas, quieter, no bellows or other places to leak and flood boat and the winterization is a breeze. I also think the OB on the back looks pretty cool!

    Boat Ramp Disaster

    When towing the jeep up out of the water the owner got right behind the jeep, if that rope let go he would likely have been killed. Could have ended much worse.

    Be careful to keep all your fingers, If the blade kept turning when disengaged! The button you discribe might be to prevent the engine starting while the blade is engaged, mine has that feature. Usually to engage belts it involves pulling a wheel tight against a belt with a lever, not a button.

    Just got back from target shootong and the gun did pretty good in my opinion. At approx 100 yrds all shots inside the green 8" diameter circle. Nothing spectacular but they all would have been in the kill zone on a moose. I suspect the "problem with the gun" was the person shooting it!
