    Decompression valve

    I have never encountered one on a boat. Engines I have encountered them on all had a lever to release the compression but those were on motorcycles, a big chainsaw and my atv. They could all be painful if a person forgot to flip the lever first.

    So if cutoff like that in heavy traffic, it will automatically brake check the person behind you? I don’t see that as a positive since a lot of drivers seem to like to tailgate too. Not to mention the increased potential for a road rage encounter.
