    Still won't shut off, it has 5 wires coming off the motor when others have 7 Plus, if you use it, the frame of the motor shocks you! Fun stuff really. Other than that it works well. Can you see the picture? Just wondering.

    Can't get the motor to shut off with key. 78 35hp with the black plug at the motor hooked up to a control box with the red plug. It won't shut off with the key. Does the black plug not have the kill ground? Funny, I haven't seen this before.

    Timing is from the pickup coil.

    If your spark jumps that good then why do you think those components can be bad? If you hold your hand in front of the carb does it spray gas at you? What plugs are you using?

    Did you use an IR gun? Sounds like thermos....where did you get the 150 reading?
