    2006 Mercury 90HP 4 Stroke Temp Gauge

    I have a water pressure gauge but I would also like a temp gauge. I ran all last year with a thermostat that ws stuck open and would prefer to know when that happens again. What are my options to adding it to this engine? It has the head made by Yamaha.

    Changing oil on 2006 Mercury 4 stroke

    Did my first oil change on my 2006 Mercury 4 stroke. What do you guys do to keep the oil from going everywhere when you pull off the filter? I think next time, I am going to pierce the filter and catch as much oil as I can before I unscrew it.
