    Power pack killer

Tough with old wires because the coloring has faded or is gone. Do your best to locate each wire and make sure there going to the right place. Tough but can be done. If you can't find a friend and do it together. One things for sure, don't give up on the old girl because I'm sure she's giving...

Type in Evinrude model number identification code and see what pops up on the Internet. More fun that way!

    1971 Johnson 25hp Outboard - 25R71S

Buy any old brand of outboard switches with a man overboard tether and upgrade it. No one should have to see their boat fly away from them.

Idle / Slow speed timing advancement screw missing?

Take some rubber handled pliers and move the wire near any metal part of the outboard. If it's bad it will spark.

E10RCNS 9.9 1982 evinrude lower unit seal kit

Local dealers here are $195 to $250 per hour. I'm lucky because Seaway Marine is right up the street and I know the family who owns it. By the way, they are not a boneyard even though it says that in the information above all these posts. Pretty sure they have the largest stock world wide...

Rule of thumb here is buy OEM when it's available. Pretty sure you will only need a few simple parts. Crosbyman will come along shortly and give you a nice color coded parts breakdown of what you need. He has one and I'm pretty sure he got married to it!🤓
