    Agreed. If your cross reference the part number you will likely find that recoil was used on many different models and years and even horsepowers. There’s bound to be one close by. Don’t give up yet.

    If your missing the assembly look for a scrap yard in your area or eBay can be your friend You could also put a wanted add on Craigs list or Facebook marketplace you just never know what’s out there until you start looking.

    Shouldn’t be to hard to locate a parts motor in your area. When you do make your part mold and get busy. I’m sure one could do well reproducing these parts as an extra income hobby.

    I have to agree. And if a problem does come up you still have a good chance of getting home with a minor adjustment. When electronics gadgets go there gone.

    Its probably not the cause of the pulling but maybe. Try it either way. If it still pulls then the trim tab needs adjusted.

    You could have some loose wiring thats causing it to run on one on one cylinder when it get rocked around. They can run great on one cylinder at idle. Need to do the testing.

    There are many things that could be the problem. I would say if your going to do your own work start by getting and factory service manual and start reading the trouble shooting sections.

    If the motor has been sitting for some time you could try tapping on the bowel to see if it will break free. But at the end of day it’s not the right thing to do. Your call.
