    Not needed. Rebuild existing transom with AC. Plywood, make sure wood goes to the edges. Laminate the two pieces with tite-bond III. Seal the wood with Rust-Oleum Drop in place, replace the transom cap

    The wood looks like it dried out and delaminated. I would get some 3/4" exterior grade plywood, laminate two pieces together to make a new transom and be back on the water by the weekend
