    Spray it with whatever your corrosion breaker is and heat it with a hair dryer. Use a hand impact screw driver to brake it free. Watch a YouTube video.

    Yeah, I know.... but it's flowing so well it looks like it. My guess is that the blocks metal components are salted out and forming leaks. This motor is coming to its end.

    Try a little tranny fluid, kerosene or what I call Pearl oil. And don't laugh, way before seafoam this was the trick.

    You can make 10 times what the outboard is worth sending it on eBay. World wide there is 1,234,567 of these motors and maybe more. Then go buy a good used one and take your significant other out to dinner!

    Did you do a compression check? Do that before replacing gasket. Shop vac.....look carefully.... What area is leaking....report back.

    After I installed a (thread on filter), I removed the pickup screen all together. Never.... ever, had a problem again. Oxams razor!

    And if above, bore-a-scope through the cylinders or pull heads and resurface them. Easy to do.

    2 acre pond? I'd leave the pond for canoers and go find a real lake. Preferably somewhere near the big city, let that smoke billow up into the air there keep it out of the ponds.

    You left out fixed jet carbs, or jets under the cowling and many other upgrades....at least most refer to them as "upgrades"
