    Mercruiser 3.0 fuel delivery issue

Nor a glass inline filter. From what you're saying though, either bad fuel pump or restriction before the pump. I'd start by checking fuel pressure though. If you run on a remote tank and the motor works when squeezing the bulb I'd guess fuel pump.

    3.0L hard starting when warm

Ok, I'll take a stab, but I don't have the actual wiring diagram to look at (@alldodge ?), so making a few assumptions, correct me if those are wrong. Also, one of the assumptions is that the 3.0 still has a mechanical fuel pump and doesn't need the diode and fuel pump connections? 1. You...

What can cause this to shift bellows ?

agree it looks twisted/stretched. I can't see any clamp or tie on the aft side? Also possible if there wasn't enough slack left in the bellows it could stretch it when you tilt the engine. I'd think less likely rodent damage since it looks deformed in addition to the holes

    Inaccurate fuel gauge?

Yes, this is the main problem. It's a shallow, below deck tank at the stern. It's pretty much impossible to set it up to read anything less than full until it's less than 3/4, and usually then only when off plane. Guessing the extra stern weight of the new engine isn't helping. Using a regular...

    Inaccurate fuel gauge?

Replaced the sender a few years back. Went through great pains to get it sort of accurate. This year noticing that it's always full. Until it isn't. Realized that it's probably because I cleaned up some connections in the helm, and the gauge is now seeing lower resistance. I don't particularly...

Plenty of help on here to get your 3.7 running. What issues are you having? No such thing as a reliable 35 year old boat. The 3.7 is no more or less reliable imo. Now that @Eric 3.7LX Alpha 1 is back, you're in good hands. If only we could find @stonyloam...
