    I use a mity-vac 8500 for vacuum and pressure testing. I also use it for vacuum bleeding brakes, verifying vacuum actuators, etc.

    My key switch runs two solid state 100 amp DC contactors for the house loads. and on the ignition side, 2 40 amp relays. the amount of current that goes thru the key switch is literally about 0.4 amps because of the dual relays and status LED's.

    thats why I spent the extra $2 for a key switch with an Aux position. I can run the radio and depth finder without the engine or gauges being on.

    usually they are lubed for life..... when they start to stick, its because they are wearing thru the inner sheath and its metal on metal. that is when they get replaced. normally cables last 15-20 years. yours are 30

    that is the part number of the intake manifold. the serial number of the motor will be riveted just above the starter boss or on the top of the spark arrestor (that you appeared to have whited out in the photo)
