MPH not showing on Gage OX66 motor

sounds like the hole in lower unit plugged up or you have a broken or plugged tubing leaving the motor heading to gauge. disconnect to tubing leaving the motor and blow into it with your mouth to see if the gauge responds do not use compressed air,it can be too much and mess up the gauge

2000 Yamaha 150 hp runs fine then sputters at dock.

if it did not run right after the work was done to it, you need to have them fix it right. if it ran fine at all PM after the carb work, but does not now, it means something got messed up . sounds like the pilot jet passages have a problem if it will not run at low RPM or one or more cylinders...

2000 Yamaha F100 four stroke oil alarm goes off at first and then goes away

a different prop or a small kicker motor for trolling might be the answer. do they make things you can drop over into water to slow down the trolling speed( kind of like a drift sock maybe)

    Yamaha 130hp fouling plugs

why not pull it and test it to be sure it is not stuck or out of spec

yamaha 4 stroke cold start problem

you need to check to make sure fuel can flow thru those passages, and figure out how 2 of them can put extra fuel into 4 cylinders. some passage is plugged up or someone put it back together wrong maybe. did those orings get replaced when the carbs were cleaned last year?

2000 Yamaha F100 four stroke oil alarm goes off at first and then goes away

I would try using the in spec oil , the 5W 30 is a thinner oil, so using the in spec oil could bring the pressure up some. but with all the oil changes to clean/flush out the debris out of the oil system, there could be a problem from all that was in there and the lack of proper oil...

2000 Yamaha F100 four stroke oil alarm goes off at first and then goes away

I would hook up the pressure gauge again and monitor what the pressure is when the alarm sounds. if the pressure is dropping down too low, you need to find out why since you have run this motor with the alarm in several times, there is a chance something was harmed due to no or not enough oil...

    DF140 vst

I can see him trying to see if the primer would still cause an over flow at lower pressures. but that would prove that my other post was not happening

    DF140 vst

you could always check fuel pressure to make sure it is not too high and overcoming the float/needle/seat

    Yamaha 130 2 stroke height

how does the water get to that if it is not getting to and going over the Cav Plate take it off to see for your self

    Yamaha 130 2 stroke height

when the cavitation plate is above the water, I do not see how anything above it would be causing water spray. if you really want to know for sure take that sacrificial anode off and run it to see if that makes it go away. might check on props that have more stern lift, I would think taking...

2009 Yamaha 25 ticking in neutral

I once found a C60 with a problem like this, it turned out to be someone tried to force the shift into reverse while the motor was not running and the clutch dogs were not aligned( only way I could think of it could happen). found the shift shaft twisted and the pin thru the clutch dog bent...

my guess is something is bent or wore out in the lower unit

    code 29 and 45

you need to find out what the problem is before you can try to fix it. shutting the key off as soon as the motor dies, and then draining the VST will tell you if the VST ran out of fuel. if that is what is shutting off the motor, then you can chase down what is not letting the VST get the fuel...

    Engine wont turn, frozen

sounds to me like the steering cable moves freely, but not the motor. he needs remove the grease serts and try squirting penetrating fluid into the pivot shaft thru all areas he can. rust has set in and it may require pulling the motor apart it is a good idea to grease all those places...

    code 29 and 45

29 – Incorrect Intake Air Pressure Sensor 45 – Shift Cut Off how does it shut down? if the VST runs low on fuel and pressure drops the motor will shut down . maybe you have a fuel delivery problem

    Yamaha 130 2 stroke height

Moving up one hole is not that hard to try, but I do not understand what you mean you can only trin 1/4 on the gauge, but can trim 1/2 with no cavitation. seems to me if it is porpoising at 1/4 it must be going nuts at 1/2. maybe you need tabs or a tail to keep the bow down or transom wedges...

    Yamaha 90 2-stroke air hose?

recirculation of liquid condensed fuel from the bottom of each cylinder's crankcase is the only thing I can think of. should be check valves involved at least one end
