    1982 Johnson 50Hp won’t start

Do you have an inline or a spark length tester? Check for GOOD spark. Otherwise you will need to go through your wiring I suppose. You might have fried something.

    1982 Johnson 50Hp won’t start

With all the unburnt fuel it's bound to be smokey. When you switched coils did you switch plug wires too? Test or switch plug wire.

    8hp Evinrude running poorly.

I think your going to find a lot of differences between the 86 carb and yours.

1993 Evinrude 200 TXT Peeing but no water at thermostats

Probably ocean residue stopping it all up. Was it overheating? Were you missing any water pump impeller fins? Time to pull some covers and see how plugged up it is and clean. I assume salt water use.....

1994 150 after few minutes it's like you turn key off let cool for 5 min and will go another few min and repeat

Yes, my guess would be optical sensor first then power pack. Start by testing the sensor with an ohm test ....many online forums on how to do this.

Funny, your diagram shows the color coded wire from the power pack but not to the coil, nor does it say which coil it goes to. Also, no legend as to what the wires color codes mean. I could see how that could mess someone up.

That's ok, sometimes that's just best. At least you posted this. Pretty sure that was your problem.

    Fuel Pump Bad?

So read this from Leroy's ramblings. It's your motor but scroll down to the fuel pump part. I've never worked on that pump but if you read this it says you can use the newer small sq. type pump (probably the 76 one Racer said to use) but you need two longer screws. The earlier ones you had to...

    Fuel Pump Bad?

There might be someone on here that knows where to get something, if memory serves me, but in leroys ramblings he says there unavailable. I think you have to convert to a newer style. Hopefully someone will help you out here.

    Heating Johnson

I hope you didn't put the frozen hockey puck back in...that wouldn't make any sense These outboards do not need high octane gas just no ethanol. You can Google non-ethanol fuel near you.

    1982 Johnson 50Hp won’t start

Not yours but the colors are correct. Orange with blue strip top....orange for lower. If you had a three cylinder it would be orange with green strip for bottom. Old omc mechanic taught me this.Think blue for sky...(top) Think green for grass (bottom) works with the trim too.

    8hp Evinrude running poorly.

That little Rude will be the one to keep, trust me. My 1992, in 30 years, has had one water pump and 1 plastic carb bowl replaced with a billion hours on it.

    Burnt fuel pooling?

Is that the bottom carb? Hard to tell from picture. What happens if you plug it while running? If it runs good time to MacGyver something.

    1982 Johnson 50Hp won’t start

Should be orange wire with blue strip to top cylinder and orange to bottom....pretty sure anyways.

    8hp Evinrude running poorly.

One things for sure, you are persistent. Everyone complains a lot on here about how parts are built way out of spec. I noticed the OEM parts were available for your engine. You should always buy those first if you can. Omc has a tool to push those out and another tool to push them in. It is...

    Burnt fuel pooling?

I looked at these carbs that are listed on eBay and see the open holes except maybe the bottom. Could be like a round bearing (plug) is supposed to go in there.

    Burnt fuel pooling?

I don't see any evidence that something is coming out....did you wipe it off? Your post said motor was running good, so if something is supposed to be in there than it would run rough. Sorry, I'm not familiar with that motor.
